I'm Whitney. The woman behind Wytnee.

Mom of three girls. Horsewoman. Riding instructor. Coach. Corporate cowgirl. Chronic overthinker. Collector of random observations, unfinished cups of coffee, and enough sarcasm to get me through most situations.

​

My life is a rather interesting combination of spreadsheets and horse manure, conference calls and rodeo arenas, early mornings and late nights. I've spent years working in offices, classrooms, barns, and places where the job description rarely covers half of what actually happens.

​

And somewhere along the way, I realized that what fascinates me most isn't necessarily what people accomplish. It's who they are, how they got there, what they've survived, and what happens when life doesn't go according to plan.

​

I've always been a storyteller. I've just spent most of my life telling everyone else's stories, cheering from the sidelines, helping people find their footing, and noticing the things that often go unsaid.

​

Eventually, I started writing some of those observations down.

Turns out, other people recognized themselves in them, too.

​

That's how Wytnee began taking shape.

​

Not as a perfectly polished lifestyle brand or a place where I pretend to have all the answers. Lord knows I don't. It's a collection of stories, conversations, observations, and the occasional opinion that probably should've stayed in my head but somehow made it onto the internet.

​

Some days you'll find something about raising daughters, growing older, or watching the world change. Other days it might be about horses, human behavior, second chances, or a quiet moment that made me stop and think.

 

I believe in hard work, genuine connections, giving people a chance, and finding humor in situations that might otherwise make you lose your ever-loving mind.

​

I believe there's something worth learning from just about everyone, even if the lesson is what not to do.

​

And I believe ordinary people have some of the most extraordinary stories, if somebody takes the time to listen.

​

So that's what you'll find here. A little bit of everything, tied together by curiosity, honesty, humor, and a genuine interest in the beautifully complicated business of being human.
